I was born in Toronto and have lived in Toronto and Halifax.

WHAT HAVE YOU STUDIED? HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN A TEACHER?

I studied at Dalhousie University (Halifax NS), Lakehead University (Orillia ON), TMI (Richmond Hill ON), and the AMI Adolescent Orientation (Huntsburg, Ohio). I’ve completed a BA English, a B.Ed (Primary/Junior Ed.), OCT, an Elementary Montessori MACTE diploma, and an Adolescent Montessori AMI diploma. I have been teaching since 2010.

WHAT IS SOMETHING YOU ARE REALLY GOOD AT?

I am really good at cooking, retaining superfluous trivia tidbits, and writing.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO WHEN YOU AREN’T AT SCHOOL?

My interests include sports, movies, nature, and food!

WHAT IS SOMETHING NOT EVERYONE KNOWS ABOUT YOU?

If you knew me really well, you would know that when I was twelve I set a camp record for treading water (64 minutes). Turns out it's not a highly transferable skill.

My wife and I have three children, a cat (Luna), a gecko (Geo), and a hamster (Pepper).
