Mildenhall Montessori Schools

Accreditation & Licensing.

Our schools were last accredited by the Canadian Council of Montessori Administrators (CCMA) in May 2024.

Each of our schools is  licensed by the Ontario Ministry of Education under the Child Care and Early Years Act (CCEYA).

The CCMA is a not-for-profit corporation committed to supporting Canadian Montessori administrators and schools and ensuring the authenticity and quality of the Montessori education.

The CCMA sets standards of accreditation in order to establish a consistency of practices and the preservation of the Montessori philosophy of education.

CCMA provides information to parents about authentic Montessori education.  They also provide direction related to school selection and how to best support their children in a Montessori school.

The CCMA is also a great source of information about the history of Montessori, research, recommendations, and other resources. Our schools passed our last CCMA accreditation in May 2024, although currently we are not CCMA members.

Each of our schools is licensed by the Ontario Ministry of Education under the Child Care and Early Years Act (CCEYA).

Licensed child care centres must meet and maintain specific provincial standards. These standards address items that affect quality in a licensed child care centre, such as staff/child ratios, physical environment, staff qualifications, and children’s health and wellbeing.
