WHERE HAVE YOU LIVED IN THE WORLD?

I was born in Calgary and have lived in Halifax, NYC and Toronto.

WHAT HAVE YOU STUDIED? HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN A TEACHER?

I studied Fine Arts at ACAD (now Alberta University of the Arts) and hold an MFA from NSCAD. I worked in small business admin and taught art to children at ACAD and the Art Gallery of Ontario before joining the Mildenhall Admin team in 2018.

WHAT LANGUAGES DO YOU SPEAK?

I speak English and French, and a little bit of Spanish.

WHAT IS SOMETHING YOU ARE REALLY GOOD AT?

I'm really good at observational drawing and getting people to laugh.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO WHEN YOU AREN’T AT SCHOOL?

When I'm not at at school I spend a lot of time exploring the city and the woods with my son who attends the Casa program at HPG. I also love to read books and listen to podcasts.

WHAT IS SOMETHING NOT EVERYONE KNOWS ABOUT YOU?

If you knew me really well, you would know that I won a scholarship to study art for a semester in NYC and was living there when Obama was elected.

WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR MOST FAVOURITE THINGS?

Dogs, books, kids, art galleries, houseplants, lasagna, tiramisu and accurate spreadsheets. Laughter through tears.
