Mildenhall Montessori Schools

Thank you for your interest in our Middle School Program.  We look forward to getting to know you through this application process.


This process is intended to aid prospective students and the school in evaluating whether the program is a good fit for the student.  Steps for application are detailed below.


Due to the unique nature of our program we request that all families attend a Middle School information session/tour.


Following the information session, we invite interested students to spend a day with us at school to get first hand experience with the program.


Following these student visit sessions, we will accept a completed application packet, which includes:


  1. Student essay
  2. Parent statement(s)
  3. Teacher and Principal recommendations. We ask for a minimum of two school references from students coming from non-Montessori schools, or one school reference for students coming from a Montessori environment.
  4. A small portfolio of recent schoolwork.  Please select three pieces of work in different subject areas that you feel best represents your academic interests and ability. 
  5. Please feel free to submit additional material that you feel would be relevant to your application. 
  6. $50 application fee (for external applicants)


We will invite applicants for follow-up interviews as needed and families will be notified of admissions decisions in March. At any time please feel free to call or email us with any questions about the program or application process.


Once a completed application is received, the child’s placement in a class will be at the sole discretion of the school based on the pedagogical criterion.  A completed application does not imply admission.
